Don't blame Bush's blunder on the French. Chiraq only said he would not go to war because there was no clear threat and because he did not trust the Bushies. At the time Chiraq took a lot of heat for that, but turns out he was right and Bushies were wrong.

Now the French and all others would gladly help us if we just dropped the old neocon policy and were willing to let the world join together to heal Iraq. The reason there are thousands in the streets fighting us now is because the US under Bush has becomer a symbol of imperialism and lies. Bush played with into OBL's hands by doing exactly what OBL predicted. ANd for no true reason. WMD's? Imminent threat? Hogwash.
