The Internet has been the more-or-less exclusive playground of the technology-savvy for years.

One thing that I can never get over is how many people, especially older men, cannot type to save their souls. Now that people like my dad, who is over 70, are learning to use the Net, those old farts who can't adapt are being left behind.

I doubt very much that Bush, Kerry, or Nader actually get much use out of the Net, personally. Nor did any of the many Democratic "dwarves," not even Howard Dean. Nor did either Clinton. Nor do many of their closest personal advisors.

Gore, it is said, can actually use a Blackberry.
