Go back and reread my post. I never claimed that

the charge of anti-Semitism is now more of a danger than the practice of it

Rather my thesis was the misuse of the charge to stifle dissent may well lead to more practice. For example, that stifling of legitimate dissent provides a fertile "breeding ground" for "kooky conspiracy theories".
