Greg, Paul was a latecomer as an Apostle. He did not live, sleep, eat, or travel, with Jesus. He did not see the miracles as they happened. Paul said, on his own, that he had performed the signs of an apostle. That's just like patting himself on the back. What miracles did Paul perform? His experience on the road to Damascus, was known, and spoken of, only by him. He taught some good stuff, but that doesn't make him a bona fide apostle.

I do believe in Christ because of the, witnessed, miracles he performed. So in a way, I am following according to His own words. The other apostles were genuine followers of Jesus, in the flesh, which qualified them to act according to His wishes. The writing of scripture done by the real apostles, are believed by me, because of their close knowledge of what Jesus really wanted for them to say. They preached the words of Jesus. Paul preached the words according to Paul, IMO.
