You see reality very clearly. My dad and I had a fabulous conversation last Sunday. Both of us are astonished that within our own family, there are only the two of us who clearly comprehend that George Bush is the greatest threat to sanity and world peace. My other four siblings somehow just don't seem to be capable of thinking.
I guess I'm lucky to be the first born, before whatever 'they' introduced into the chemical stream in our food supply in 1951 destroyed the minds of all who followed.
I'm totally clear on what is happening. Why can't any of my younger siblings, or most of America, get it?
Here's an email I sent one hour ago to a friend who has decided to wimp out on democracy:

I want to introduce this band of rubes to Saul Alinksy, Dorothy Day, Mother Jones, Bill Bill Heywood, Michael Bakunin, Lev Bronstein, Mondragon, the Anarcho-Syndicalists of Barcelona - summer of 1935, Kerensky's failures, Emma Goldman, Jane Addams, Marshall Field III, Tim Robbins, Tom Hayden, Gore Vidal, Amy Goodman, Che Guevara, Monbiot, Fisk, Sy Hersh, Ellsberg.......
Well you get the point. While Bend gets the shaft because KPOV is run by a bunch of milquetoasts who don't have a fucking clue how to organize a radio station, just as Natalie doesn't know how to organize a dialogue on democracy.
It's all really simple. All I need is to win the lottery, and I'd have this community organized into a democratic collective in six months.
BTW, do you have any winning lottery numbers to share?

If you want to stop the madness, send me money. I can't see anyone else in my environment who is willing, as Saul Alinsky was and as I am, to die for democracy. OTOH, I've seen plenty of mercenaries in Iraq willing to die for less than $1,000/day in wages to create a Hell on earth.
And I'm glad they died. Though there seems to be no end to the fascist creeps who will subscribe to the Soldier of Fortune Magazine because they don't see any other alternative to making a living besides murdering others for the sake of the corporate greedheads.
