Yes Syracuse has a great comm school. But if I'm a great basketball player, why would I go to a Syracuse or Connecticut over say... Stanford, Duke or Georgetown, all of whom have better academic reputations and other amenities? I'm sure Okafor could have passed the academic qualifications of Duke and Stanford, so how did he end up in Storrs? Intangibles?
