No., he wouldn't have had Clinton problems, except maybe with Jackie. We ,meaning everybody, including the press and media, didn't look at that stuff. Affairs, handicaps (FDR's wheelchair) blah, blah were known to reporters, but out of respect to the office, kept their mouths shut. I'm not too sure that any of this public stuff really started until Clinton. My recollection was that JFK didn't provoke too much discussion on the net, which Gore didn't invent until a few years after JFK died.
