The President continues to say Saudi Arabia is "our friend" despite
their potential ties to terrorists. As the LA Times reported, "the 27 classified
pages of a congressional report about Sept. 11 depict a Saudi government
that not only provided significant money and aid to the suicide hijackers but
also allowed potentially hundreds of millions of dollars to flow to Al Qaeda and
other terrorist groups through suspect charities and other fronts." Just this
week, Newsweek reported "within weeks of the September 11 terror attacks,
security officers at the Fleet National Bank in Boston had identified
'suspicious' wire transfers from the Saudi Embassy in Washington that
eventually led to the discovery of an active Al Qaeda 'sleeper cell' that may
have been planning follow-up attacks inside the United States." [Source: LA

The evidence was and is the 9/11 attacks originated in Saudi Arabia and were carried out by Saudis. Bush attacked Iraq because of his close ties to Saudi Arabia and his desire for war profits. Gas prices are already up 30%, yet in June we'll see monumental increases on this. And that misbegotten son of a Bush has the temerity to endorse ads carping about Kerry wanting a 50 cent gas tax - though there's no evidence of such because Bush and company simply make up everything. The only honest answers Condi gave were that during the months before 9/11 she was unaware of anything. And she was in charge of National Security?!!!! She needs to step down as having failed in every instance to perform her duties to this country. Incompetence should not be rewarded. When are the impeachment proceedings against Bush starting, btw?
