Robert; An easy bet to win, the rate of innovation has always been slower with Apple, allowing the product to mature and have a few years of bug free life before being dead. The rate of change of Wintels is far greater as the open platform has begat generations nipping on the heels of their just born progenitors. If AMD can get the use of the IBM foundries they can make lots of K6. It is well known that AMD has better designers and foundries than Intel, as they have caught and passed a moving target. I hope this funny Intel socket bites the dust soon. I will never get a machine with one. Bill
