canyondweller, one of your mental blocs is that you think our foreign policy is based on what the rest of the world thinks of us as opposed to what the rest of the world needs to know about us and our next action. C. Rice was very credible and forthright today in spite of the partisan slamming she had to endure from BenVenesti and Roummer, a couple of political wannabe hacks...sad. the entire 9/11 hearings is a miscarridge of common sense....and will benefit no one other than the Islamic radicals trying to gather insight into our thinking..... there are a few facts that are lost on most on this forum...they are as follows: we are in Iraq, and we are not leaving until the radicals have been dealt with... the official policy of the USA is to wage war against Terrorism on a global level on several or more fronts. Our administration is committed to our Presidents orders and they are going to see them through... Our military is fully committed to carrying out the governments orders... We, the USA, are winning the war against terrorism and we will prevail... when the dust has settled and this is all over you and your children, grandchildren will live in a world free of Islamic crazies terrorism hanging over their heads... there is even an outside chance that some ME countries will be dragged into the 21st century and provide normal upbringing for their children..... regards from Chuck
