E.T.'s a garden-variety schmoo like yourself-but this was supposed to be posted to you-since you have won "Turd of the Thread" for tonight...

<<Listen and LEARN, sewer rat:

Listen hawkman..........the whole premise for going into Vietnam was due to the Domino theory.....you ever heard of that one, o wise one. It was created by another GOP president aka general. It was based on fear and paranoia and presumed that if Vietnam fell to the communists, all of Southeast Asia incuding India would fall to the communists eventually. Well guess what, o wise one, that didn't happen but a lot of Americans died because of that bad theory.

And then there was the war itself. A lot of you from back then must be having flashbacks if you think the US was winning the war. However, if you read the history of the Vietnamese War, we were winning the battles but losing the war. All these years since apparently have clouded your thinking but what's in the history books and what you remembered seem to be two different things.

And frankly, I can learn from past American mistakes and not repeat them.......even if you can't. Oh yeah, much like with Iraq, another president lied about the dangers and ended up triggering the war. And he was a Texan too. It makes me sick when presidents lie.

That's why its time for regime change and to bring our troops home!
