What I am certain of is that many things are overvalued and that there is too much debt. I think that there is so much overvaluation and so much debt that it cannot be unwound quckly, and that the Fed will try to see to it that the process is relatively gradual.

But I hope that you are correct, though I worry that too sudden a break might mean that the counterparties to my short positions might go bankrupt and not be able to pay off.
