I've condensed my view of the executive world to ego and ambition. Characteristics that are not bad in themselves, but belonging to nearly every executive above middle management. Everything evolves around those two components. Attack the ego and/or threaten the ambition and you're dead meat. Feed them and you're golden. If you're inclined to ambition yourself feed ego two levels up and feed ambition at the next level up. jttmab
