Hi Harvey Allen; Re: "That's if the whole population is against you which is not the case here."

Well, what's sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander, LOL.

My figures are for comparisons with South Vietnam and Algeria. In the case of those countries, not only was the whole population not against us, there were such substantial numbers of locals aligned with us that they took more casualties than we did.

So when you adjust the figures for Iraq, as compared to Vietnam and Algeria, you must take into account that Iraq is giving us even less assistance than Vietnam or Algeria, and appropriately increase the size of that 25 million number.

Furthermore, since there are essentially no Iraqi forces fighting on our side (even the police are thoroughly corrupted and peacefully gave their positions to Al Sadr's men), the people we kill will make the rest of the Iraqis even more angry with us. As we kill perpetrators in Fallujah, we breed new perpetrators everywhere from Mosul to Basra.

Re: "And by the June 30 photo op things will be pretty quiet even in the Sunni Triangle."

Not a snowball's chance in Hell.
