AS is calling for a massive overhaul. Something on the order of magnitude of what AS is predicting is a rare event. I see. Sorry. I did not read too deep into the thread. However I do agree that the tax code is an abomination. When tax professionals can't agree on how to interpret the code, than how can lay people figure it out? Then you have the IRS which doesn't know up from down either. Ever get a straight answer out of them at tax time? NOT! I hope we get an overhaul...but I fear we will have to muddle through with what we have for quite a while longer. Rich people always have the best accountants, and through Enron Style accounting pay the least tax. Orca
