Um. The Estate tax credit is currently at $1.5 million, not $2.0 million as you state.

Just talk to someone who has a family business or farm about how meaningful that can be.

Beginning in 2002, the top rate dropped to 50%. Wow! 50% of the value of an estate in excess of $1.5 million. So much for working hard and passing on to your offspring.
