Why didn't, given the above, the Bush Administration at least, at the very minimum, in all prudence, have the common sense to have interceptor jets capable of responding expeditiously to any incident that could happen in New York, site of the previous Al Qaeda attack, and in Washington, site of, well, you know ...?
