So you mean a whole slew of other countries will be attacked before the war on terror is started ? Go straight to the enemy and root them out. Enemy here is Al Qaeda. This war has not only given respite to Al Qaeda to recupurate and attack in Tunisia, Pakistan and Spain, it also has swelled the ranks. Now it has managed to unite Shia's and Sunni's against US.

I really do not know what to make of your statement "The war on terror isn't even getting warmed up yet.".
