this has two key extremely high risk differences

RELIGION

then we have the quantum jump in deterioration
US Troops now are being killed by Shiites
so let me summarize
we offer democracy to Iraq, with Shiites the majority
and Shiite factions are killing us
please tell me how this could be going any worse

next we will manage the death count reporting
just like Viet Nam

and then the typical battle cry
"we cannot cut & run, since that would dishonor those who died"
