My, you are in a snit. I trust that you didn't really perceive my comments the way you are spinning them, but on the off chance that you're serious, no, buying options is not gambling, per se.

I do think that buying options because you don't like what someone else said would be a monumentally stupid thing to do, but assume it's merely trash talk.
