I don't see a problem here. Buying a house is always a risk, but right now it about an order of magnitude riskier. In my previous post, I talked about my son wanting to buy, and me telling him to wait until after the US elections.

If you do decide to buy, can you stand the shock if interest rates start to move up? People need MORE cushion now, not less.

Just my opinion.
