You brought up the volunteer status, which suggests that you think volunteering is not as valuable as providing one's skills for appropriate remuneration. Is it your position that the kidnapped volunteers are more disadvantaged than other hostages would be since they are underpaid or unpaid. Hence, we should be concerned for their well-being to a greater degree...!?!

That seems very discriminatory and judgmental for a died-in-the-wool, shares-of-gray, whining liberal...!?! Shame on you.
