I gotta tell you - being in the same boat as Clinton vis-a-vis not preventing 9/11 is a non-starter for Bush. Being no worse than Bill Clinton doesn't even deserve the appellation "faint praise."

This whole commission, from day one, was designed for one purpose. To take down Bush. We got the typical mix of Moderate Republicans who want to be "fair," and typical Democratic hacks who knew what the mission was from the get-go. That is why the Admin fought it.

But this is not going to be a deciding factor in the election. Whe economy is going to be good. If Iraq looks doable in late November, Bush is in. If not, he could lose.
