I think it can. It really has no other choice. We have to do this. It will have to be done sometime, and there will never be a better time than now.

If we succeed in Fallajah and in choking off Sadr, we have done Sistani, Pachachi, et al the best of all possible favors, and surely they have enough sense of self-preservation to realize it.

They'll back the winner, the biggest, baddest dog. And that has to be us.
