Although the company changed dramatically with the acquisition of the Kemess properties, it isn't a "new" company. It has a long, rich history. It was incorporated in 1919 under the laws of Ontario. Terry Lyons joined the board of directors in 1993 and became Chairman and CEO in the mid-90's.

The company was involved in uranium exploration in Ireland and Newfoundland in the late '70s. It has had interests in Ireland (lead-zinc-silver-copper) , South America (Chili), California, and, of course, Canada over the years.

The stock was a high as $19.10 in 1969 (it could have been higher in years prior to 1963, the first price record that I have)and as low as 3/8 during the 90's.

It has been involved in many joint ventures, has had subsidiaries come and go, but it has survived. The stock has traded on The Toronto, New York, Montreal and London exchanges in the past and in the late '90s was delisted in the US and traded on the lowly pink sheets until last year when it was listed on the Amex.
