I don't think Kerry will win unless he actually comes out with affirmative plans, with numbers that add up, and which survive scrutiny.

Or Bush self destructs with the 9/11 Commission or negative campaign ads or poor economy or Iraq blunder or any combination thereof.

At that point, I think the American voter would say that they would like to replace a known failure with someone with a chance of success.
