08/15 DJ =Novadigm Up 18% As Co. Prepares To Unveil Internet Pdts

By Janet Morrissey

NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--Novadigm Inc. (NVDM) stock rose 18% Friday on news the company plans to unveil a new Internet product within the next 60 days.

Novadigm President and Chief Executive Albion Fitzgerald confirmed the company will introduce a product line by mid-October that will move the company into the lucrative Internet arena.

The stock closed at 5 13/16, up 7/8 or 17.7%, on Nasdaq volume of 232,900, compared with average daily volume of 57,300. The shares advanced 19.7% Thursday.

Until now, the systems software management developer has focused on medium- and large-sized companies, offering technology that allows them to manage applications throughout their organizations.

Fitzgerald said he believes the company's upcoming line of Internet products will "fill a huge vacuum" by providing software that will allow Web surfers to manage all their software packages on the Internet. He also predicts the company's business-critical applications will attract members of the financial community.

Novadigm's Internet "push/pull" software and content management product line will be based on the patent the company received for the technology last December.

Fitzgerald said the company is currently seeking partners and distributors for the technology.

Novadigm's president said he expects the Internet line to add to revenues beginning in its fiscal third quarter ending Dec. 31.
