Reliant was run by James Baker...

Is that a lie or merely a mistake. James Baker did not "run" Reliant Resources. He was merely a director. Your conspiracy theories about the California energy crisis and the Bush-Cheney campaign are beginning to wear thin. Show me some proof. If it actually existed, someone would have blown the whistle by now.

JAMES A. BAKER, III has been a director of Reliant Energy since 1996. Mr. Baker will serve as one of our directors and as a director of Reliant Energy until the time of the distribution, at which time he plans to resign from the Board of Reliant Energy. Mr. Baker is currently a senior partner in the law firm of Baker Botts L.L.P. in Houston, Texas, Senior Counselor to The Carlyle Group, a merchant banking firm in Washington D.C., and a director of Electronic Data Systems Corporation. He served as the United States Secretary of State from January 1989 through August 1992 and as White House Chief of Staff and Senior Counselor to President George H.W. Bush from August 1992 to January 1993. From 1985 to 1988, Mr. Baker was the United States Secretary of the Treasury and Chairman of the President's Economic Policy Council in the administration of President Reagan, having previously served as President Reagan's White House Chief of Staff from 1981 to 1985 and as President Ford's Under Secretary of Commerce in 1975.
