Why would he say it in that way when the less dramatic statements did the job? Bush made it very clear that Iraq's WMDs were a threat to the US without resorting to the kind of hysteria you're demanding as proof. Its not just a matter of drama. Statements like "Iraq has dangerous WMD which could be a threat to the US" are substantially different than "Iraq will blow up American cities within the next few months". Read my lips......they are not "substantially different". Only someone very petty would think that they are.......are you that petty, Tim? If I had made a similar statement against Clinton or Gore or Kerry I have no doubt that you would be all over me. I don't think so......when Clinton or Gore or Kerry screw up, I admit it. Earlier today, I posted an article on this thread that brings into question whether Kerry is more of a hawk than Bush......something I would not like. You see.............I want the best president and not what's best for a particular party. And I am not afraid of the truth. ted
