This post goes to support the notion that with every day, Iraq will develop into a quagmire for Bush. On the Sunni side of Iraq, Syria is waiting in the wings to foment chaos. And in the Kurd side, US could probably restrain Turkey because of their NATO alliance.

Bush needs to seriously overhaul his foreign policy. He needs to fire Rumsfeld, send Cheney on "forced medical leave", but Wolfowitz a one-way ticket to Israel and then call in his sensible team from the "Foggy Bottom". Powell is a much more sensible guy, who has a better sense of judgement about war and its potential as well as the potential for diplomacy.

If Bush remains arrogant and holds out with this cronies, the Cheney-Rumsfeld-Wolfowitz axis of destruction, then he will also be consumed by it and voted out in November 2004.
