Probably AS is correct...............the one that will give Kerry the best possibility of winning additional electoral votes is the best choice................the question is which one?

An option that one TV pundit brought up is that a Governor would be a better candidate than another Senator. There is a Governor or former GOv of Penn that was an interesting possibility but I can't remember his name. Richardson may be good too though I have to admit I don't know much about him.

A Governor gives more balance to the ticket than another Senator. The VP will have to be a Democrat from one of the swing states I would think. However, look at the CLinton Gore pairing............both from southern states that were geographically close to each other.

Whoever Kerry picks, I hope it is someone who can win in Republican areas.
