Hi Chris,

I don't know about safer, but I'm up 10% in six weeks -- 2/3 of the way to my annual goal already. I'll take it.

Up 10% in 6 weeks is a winner in my book... Congratulations...

Beta (per Value Line) - ACS: 1.05, UTSI: 1.70
which to my way of thinking makes ACS the "safer" stock...

Have recently bought HDI

Harley-Davidson is a great company. I love the backlog of work they always have. If the stock comes down to around $48, I might be a buyer...

added to my JNJ

My investment club used to own JNJ before we closed shop permanently. We had sold them at around 55 or so, back in 2001. We used the proceeds to buy Pfizer (PFE). Neither stock has been a real good performer since then. JNJ is currently selling for less than what we sold for over 2 years ago now. And PFE is up only 10%, give or take, in the same time frame. The price of JNJ stock has been pretty much range-bound since late 2000.

if I weren't already loaded up on LNCR, I would add more

Lincare... I love the company, like the stock and really fear the industry/sector. I know I'm probably being irrational about it, but I just can't shake the feeling that one day soon, our Congress is going to jump on health care issues as being too expensive for Americans, for the elderly, for the poor, etcetera and then pass some ill-advised legislation that drastically affects these companies and their stock prices. It's already happening to Lincare to a small extent in their asthma business...

next stock I'm going to analyze will probably be PHCC. I think it has potential.

Priority Healthcare... Interesting company... Fantastic numbers as projected by Value Line... I like them at or under $19. If you decide to buy, let the thread know so we can front-run you on the stock... <ggg>

As always, do your own dd

That is where all the fun is in doing this. I'll PM you my list of screened stocks from Value Line. You might find them interesting. Then again, you might think me to be somewhat crazy... <g>
