Bandar may have helped Bushies rig the phony energy crisis. The secret deal might have been, Saudis help Cheney-Bush into power by spiking oil prices on Clinton-Gore in exchange for hands-off the Saudis on terrorism.
Remember how Reaganites got Iran to hold onto the hostages until Carter was beaten. Just a guess. Texas Republicans and the Saudis have very close mutual interests and contacts.
