If one were to take a Memory Lane stroll over on SI's DON'T START THE WAR thread, one would find references indicating that Sadr had been in Iran with an army ready to fight against Saddam Hussein when the time was right. Sure enough, when the war started in rolled the Sadr brigade.

So it's not like Sadr appeared out of nowhere as the Administration has led us to believe. And to describe the young cleric as a two-bit thug when his father was indeed the most revered cleric ever in the history of Iraq is downright foolish as well.

It really has gotten to the point where anything that comes out of the Bush Administration, no matter the issue, one is today forced to believe the opposite of what they say. And this is a sad: The president of the United States has completely lost all credibility, both domestically and internationally. Indeed, Bush's is the most inept, sophomoric and truth-slaughtering administration in the history of the United States!
