At some point, most Americans will come to the realization that Bush is a terrible President. The next question is: Should I vote for John Kerry or a third party candidate (assuming Bush doesn't step down).
That is the intention of this thread: Kerry or 3rd party. Bush is not a viable alternative.
I remember when I turned against Nixon (a far better President than Bush). It was a slow process. For some time I was in denial, but after dispassionately analyzing the facts, I got angry! Because I went through that process once before (30 years ago), it was easier for me to recognize Bush for what he is: secretive, inarticulate, demonstrates poor judgment, admits to not reading, never takes responsibility, is an ideologue, is intellectually lazy, is indifferent to the deaths of our troops, etc.
The sooner you transition from Bush supporter, to Bush critic, the happier you will be in the future!
I've posted many positives about Kerry: his suggestions on Iraq, his fiscally responsible proposals on the budget, his free trade stance, etc. It is too bad this thread gets polluted with the anti-Bush posts; that should just be a given. But the pro-Bush posts are even sadder; posters defending the indefensible.
As I’ve stated before, I've made my choice between Kerry and a 3rd party. I believe Kerry will be a fine President. This should be the debate. |
