Jobs in China? In big Chinese cities, for the new college graduate, the starting pay this year is <2000 Yuan/month, comparing to >4000 Yuan last year.

And quite a few big Chinese private companies, as well as SOEs, are now laying off thousands. The big 4 state-owned banks is going to lay off 200,000 in this new round of bank reform.
