It's logical that at over $10 a bushel, just about everybody is going to convert some corn acreage to soybeans. That's why I think corn could be the next grain shortage item. In fact the inventories are lower there than in soybeans.

So I translate those comments on soybeans as a wash given that consumption merely offsets new supply. This in turn leads to a corn shortage. Pay me now, or me me later.
