Bremer was on the Sunday morning talk shows this morning to tell us what is going on in Iraq today. It seems that the action in Fallujah and among the Sadr supporters (a tiny group of thugs, says he) is all because these enemies of democracy know that when "sovereignty" is passed to Iraqis, they will no longer be able to fight, they won't have legitimacy, and the great mass of Iraqis will turn against them.

Perle gave Chalabi a boost on ABC, said one of our greatest mistakes of the past year was not trusting the Iraqis enough, especially those on the IGC. Said he hasn't heard of anyone who has resigned(?!), and that people like Chalabi have done a great job under the circumstances and have a "constituency" in Iraq. Sure he does, Richard. Perle lives in his lies and his fantasies, he doesn't even bother keeping up with the news when he goes on national television.
