So I gather that you do not find the prime minister of Italy to be a credible witness. LOL

Gaddafi was on a road to an eventual punk out. The war in Iraq just accelerated the process. Of course, defanging Libya does not really do anything to increase U.S. security. A positive for Europe and Libya's African neighbors.
