How about we call them a "gorge" of vultures. That's what vultures do on carcasses, and what rises in my throat when I see a bunch of photographers and reporters hunkered down like that. I don't think I am a WORD person. I love words though. To me, they are whole beings almost like an organism, not a collection of letters in a particular order. Because I always think of words in a context, I'm terrible at anagrams and crossword puzzles. When I need a word, it just comes to me. My 85 year old mother eats crosswords for breakfast, but I give up before I get the first one.
