Case in point was Paula Zahn an airhead named Wendy Diamond on to promo her book that helps women select their men by the type of dog the men own. That was one low end segment.

Who, anywhere on the face of the planet, cares besides Wendy?

The American press has been censured.

I golf with a guy who managed a major newspaper for over 20 years, and had a direct conversation with him about the press coverage of today.

He admitted that the owners would let them know in no uncertain terms which topics were off limits, but rarely tell them exactly what to say. He said it's all about making money and not ruffling the wrong feathers. Concentrated ownership is very dangerous in his view.
