As one who has served in the army twice, and believe in a strong defense against terrorism, I have read this thread with great interest.
It seems the Bush supporters are strong on accusations, e.g.,"as we now know that the U.N. was on Saddam's payroll, it seems that there's an established U.N./insurgent relationship there that might work." and short on facts.
I have asked several times what ACTIONS the Bush administration have taken against terrorism and not got a reply. Therefore, I must conclude that Bush, counter to his claims, has been weak on terrorism. Please counter my arguments with facts, rather than slogans, insults, or slander.
I supported the invasion of Iraq, based on the information given to me by my President. Apparently, he knew better but ignored facts. Please do better than Bush and use facts.
