Gregor,
I loaded up on the way down today.
I figured that the 200 day moving average (near 555-560) would be the bottom of this run with at least a 1/3 recovery back towards 600 (around 575) and maybe 1/3 towards 660, which would top out just near the 600 range.
Then if the ^RMS breaks under 555 for more than 2 days, I would look for a prolonged 'bear market' for REITs. Until then, it is as likely to stay above 560 as below.
I stuck mostly with quality - GGP, ARE, KIM, WRI, CPG, etc.
I really don't have a feel for which sectors to pursue. Hotels are holding up better than I expected.
