the intel was taken by the administration, stripped of caveats and it's disputed nature, and presented to the senators as definitely known fact. Chris, I think at a minimum, if were I the Senator, I'd be pissed by what was NOT the full presentation of the what you could call the "current body of facts" surrounding the issue. The Senator was relying on the Administration to present "the state of the facts" to asist him in his decsion. I see presentations like this in the business world and I don't like them. Failure to do this by the administration in my view convinces me that they were predisposed to going to war with Iraq. The yellowcake matter that zonkie brought up was another, in fact that one appears to be more of what I would consider a lie than this. because there did'nt appear to be an equal and opposite view.
