Brad, I have been a Forbes subscriber for at least 10 years and have followed Gilder for a long time too. In my opinion Gilder is a great visionary and has an amazing understanding of a wide range of technologies. He can generally predict the future direction of technology, and has only recently tried to translate that knowledge into selecting companies that will benefit. Stock picking is a whole different game than being a technology visionary. I think his insights are incredibly useful to any investor. Its too early to tell if Gilder has any stock picking talent.
