I just RMAd the Colorgraphic card. Port #3 has the "purple sparklies". I isolated it now to where I am certain it is the card.

I got the 20 foot cables, and they worked fine on all but Port #3. The 20-foot cable made the problem worse.

So, I assume that Port #3 has a bad driver. It's really bad on a long cable, and just regular bad on a short cable. :)

Otherwise, I am happy with the card, and I like their no-argument tech support. They are pretty accomodating.
