OTOH, there is nothing to infer with regard to al Qaeda's 9-11 plan. Is there?
Apparently there is evidence Clinton was told,in 1996, during one of those PDB's, Al Qaeda was planning to use airplanes to crash into buildings. He tasked Al Gore to set up a commission to investigate. Apparently the commission gave instructions to the FAA, and others, to perform ethnic profiling but was rebuffed as it was illegal, among other things. The commission was disbanded and nothing else was done. This info is contained in a book written by the Air Force Officer, now a retired Colonel, who carried the 'football' for Clinton. Find and read "Dereliction of Duty".
Full of info that probably will not be brought up by the present commission. The smell is getting stronger and stronger pointing to Slick's non-actions.

PS: None of this information was passed on to President Bush during the transitiion, or after, even though Bush kept on Muller and Tenet to insure continuity. As now known, Tenet made no mention of this information in his PDB of Aug 6, to President Bush. I wonder of that Mafia slick democrat hack lawyer, Ben Nives, has got his head out of his ass after the Aug 6 PDB proved Bush was not informed about recent Al Qaeda threats. |
