I was being sarcastic. I love CSPAN, although many find it termially boring. More to the point, I love the Washington Journal. I rarely watch the legislative coverage. I love hearing the people that call in, the total nut jobs from the right and the left, spouting their misinformed opinions, attacking guests. And the occasional person who seems to have it right. I don't even mind that CSPAN misrepresents the news and the callers (by proportion). I think ALL the American major media are terrible about presenting news that's important, and CSPAN just reflects this. (I'll dig on the internet!, I like The Guardian, Al Jazeera, Asia Times and some Australian rags) I give CSPAN a pass, as if they seemed too partisan one way or another, they might be banned - then where else would you be able to hear ordinary Americans comment on how they see the state of our country. We really are an ignorant bunch! Perhaps we have the President we deserve, but I hope not.
