Have enjoyed the conversation between you and Nadine from the original small note. It will be interesting to see how "sharp ideas" come about and are implemented in the decades to come. Personally, I think it is a meld of the middle. And I don't mean the middle of the far left (i.e.Dean, T.Kennedy, Chomsky) or the far right (i.e. Falwell, Robertson)...Lopp off the bottom of the bell curve on both sides (about 15% on each side), and then use the median thought for the remainder....and see where we will be. This is all with the hope that we will have the luxury of making those choices. If the fundamentalist Islam folks have their way, those of us that are left will be Muslim, or dead.
