The adjustments to the remaining studies are usually expensive and take more time than previously expected.

This amylin analogs have a long wait to go, they have to also prove long term benefits, and if ok it will take many years, probably after marketing (if they are able to market, I do not think so). Very difficult science.

At least the AMLN people deserve recognition for their efforts, they must be very dissapointed. It is a sad end to this story.
